Indigenous Business Directory
In 2022, the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA), the Indigenous Prosperity Centre (IPC), the City of Victoria, the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, and the Capital Regional District partnered to create the South Island Indigenous Business Directory.
The directory was developed to better understand and support Indigenous businesses across southern Vancouver Island, while making it easier for governments, organizations, and the public to find and procure from them. It features a diverse range of Indigenous-owned businesses, from creative services to technical and professional sectors.
As a partner initiative supported by IPC, the directory strengthens Indigenous procurement pathways, increases visibility for Indigenous entrepreneurs, and helps connect businesses to new opportunities, markets, and networks.
