Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada: Calls to Action

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) Calls to Action are 94 recommendations released in 2015 to address the harms of the Indian Residential Schools system and advance reconciliation between Indigenous peoples and Canada. They are divided into two categories: Legacy (Calls 1–42), which focus on addressing ongoing impacts in areas like child welfare, education, health, and justice; and Reconciliation (Calls 43–94), which call for systemic change, including adopting UNDRIP, educating the public on Indigenous history, and promoting respectful relationships across government, society, and the corporate sector.
